Sheet Pile

Other Steel Form

Sheet piling is a retaining wall system using long, interlocking steel sections to create a continuous barrier, often used to support excavations or prevent soil or water movement. These walls are typically driven into the ground and can be used for temporary or permanent applications.

Applications:

  • Retaining walls: Sheet piles can be used to support excavations for basements, underground parking, or other below-grade structures.
  • Cofferdams: They are used to create temporary enclosures for work in or near water, such as bridge construction or riverbank stabilization.
  • Seawalls and bulkheads: Sheet piles provide a barrier against water and erosion in coastal areas.
  • Other uses: They can also be used for levee strengthening, breakwaters, and environmental barrier walls.
