Propeller Fan
Insulation & Ventilation
A propeller fan (also known as a standard axial fan) uses fan blades mounted to a central shaft to pull air directly through the fan parallel to the axis of rotation. It moves high volumes of air at low static pressure, making it the most common and energy-efficient choice for open-air circulation and non-ducted ventilation.
Key Applications
- Whole-House & Attic Ventilation: Mounted in gable ends or attic walls to exhaust hot air and draw in cooler outside air.
- Agricultural & Livestock Facilities: Provides high-volume air turnover in barns, poultry houses, and greenhouses to remove heat, moisture, and gases.
- Industrial & Commercial Buildings: Used as wall-exhaust fans in warehouses, factories, and commercial garages where minimal or no ductwork is involved.
- General Air Circulation: Serves as the foundation for standard desk, pedestal, box, and ceiling fans.
